Kathie Jordan Birth Called Death Book Cover

Is there life after death?

The Birth Called Death
By Kathie Jordan

A seemingly ordinary woman has had extraordinary encounters with the Heaven worlds, journeying to the other side of life.

Starting when Kathie was seven, her deceased brother came to her at nighttime, pulled her from her physical body, via her astral body, and guided her to the Heaven worlds. In these nighttime journeys, Kathie was taught the meaning of bodily death, the afterlife and earthly life. She was taken to higher and higher levels of Heaven, where she met a few great spiritual teachers, including Jesus.

Unique among this genre of books, this tale is told from the perspective of a child in a charming, direct and inspiring fashion.

Whether you are interested in learning about life after death or understanding the enlightenment of the mystics of all of the great traditions, you will find The Birth Called Death to be a must read.

“Mommy, mommy, I see Troy.” With these words, at the tender age of three, I announced to my mother that standing at the end of my bed was my brother, who had recently died in the Korean War. Even at that age, I understood that the man standing at the end of my bed was somehow different from the man I had known in my short life. I remember my mother glancing towards the end of my bed and nodding once at her beloved son, declaring to me that she too could see him. It was a special moment that would mark the bond between the three of us: my mother, my brother, and myself.

Ariel began the class by saying, “First of all, understand that your earthly life is indeed over. You are now on the plane closest to earth, called the astral plane. There are many levels of existence, and in many respects, this is the beginning level. As some of you are aware, there are several levels of the astral plane. However, you are not on the lowest astral level. That level is reserved for, what we call, our hard core cases. People whose earthly existence left much to be desired. Some of you may call this lower level Hell, and to those who exist there, that is a very apt description. People do eventually leave that level, but it normally takes many years of rehabilitation. However, the subject of this lowest astral level will be dealt with in other classes.”

Ariel continued, “Also, some of you may have noticed that we have a visitor to this class. A young lady who still resides on the earth plane. She will be visiting this class, from time to time, because of what she needs to learn while still on earth. It is not very often that people, who are still on earth, are able to visit this realm and remember what they have seen. But, when we find such a one, they are always welcome to sit-in on any classes that are needed for their growth. You may wonder how I know that she still resides on earth. Well, I will show you. Kathie, could you please stand up.”
As far as I was concerned, this was the worst thing that could have happened. I didn’t want to stand up in front of all these people. But, at the urging of Troy, I did so.
Ariel asked, “Does anyone notice anything unusual about Kathie?”
Everyone turned to look at me. But, no one seemed to notice anything strange. So, Ariel pointed out to them the cord that was attached at my navel and stretched off into the distance.
“That cord is what is keeping her attached to her body on earth. If all of you were to look at your own bodies, you would not see a cord. Also, please notice that her cord itself is alive. See how it pulsates, and is constantly changing colors. At the time of death, the cord is cut, and you are then free to leave your body forever. Once the cord is cut, you cannot return.”

Once again, as we traveled through the tunnel of light, I noticed a great rush of people going the other way. Some of them were actually dancing through the tunnel. How odd I thought. I guess they were happy to be out of their bodies. Troy then mentioned to me that the people I had witnessed, dancing through the tunnel, were much older people who were suddenly free of their old and weakened bodies. Also, those people had relatives and friends waiting to welcome them. It was the prospect of soon seeing their “lost” relatives and friends that had them quite literally jumping for joy.

Suddenly, I heard a very mellow and soft voice say, “All of life teaches us things about ourselves, if we would only stop and listen.”

Ariel continued, “On this level, you can do many things that might seem impossible on earth. One of the things that you can do here, is to create things seemingly out of the air.”
Ariel turned, and there, right in front of him, was a vase with one dozen roses in it. We all jumped. How did you do that? We all asked in unison. Ariel smiled.
“Well, it is really quite simple. I thought about the roses, then manifested them here in the room.”
Well, I thought, it really doesn’t seem simple to me.
“On this level and each level thereafter, you are not bothered with a cumbersome body and the feeling that you cannot do anything magical. On earth, imagination is not given much credit. In fact, sometimes, people are accused of having too much of an imagination. Here, often times, too much of an imagination is not enough.”

Alexandra continued, “On this level, knowledge is power. Intuition is the awareness of knowledge directly from the source of all knowledge. To be in touch with your intuition is to be in touch with power. There are many levels within this level, and each one gained gives you greater and greater contact with your intuition.”
Some of this was a little over my head, or so I thought. Since, I certainly did not feel that I was in touch with my intuition.
“Of course, continued Alexandra, “this level is called the buddhic or intuitional level, but it is not just about intuition. This is the level where you start to become much more than you thought you could be. This is the level where all of your previous classes come together and you shed all thoughts of just being human. You are so much more than that.”

“Where is God’s voice?” I asked Jesus.
He placed his hand on the area of my heart, and gently said, “Right here. It will be as a still small voice within you. Listen for it. Set aside each day some time, to be still and to listen. My Father’s voice is like the quiet of a snowflake falling onto the ground; and yet, it is also like the roar of a mighty wave on the ocean. If you listen, you will hear him.”
