5 Stars Best book on death I have ever read, April 1, 2004
Reviewer: Paula Easton (Signal Hill, CA United States)
If you are afraid of dying, have a loved one or friend one who died or is dying, then this is the book for you. It is so simple of a little girl's adventure and yet so complex, your thinking about it all the time. Easy reading in a story form, which is how I like to read books. Don't really care much for the lecture type book. This one is good and really makes you think. I hope she writes more, can't wait.
5 Stars One of the best "after life" books in print., June 27, 2004
Reviewer: Leroy Kattein (Tulsa, OK USA)
I really enjoyed reading this book. I had a Near Death Experience 17 years ago and have learned a lot about the life after death. This is as good a description as any. Wish I knew her brother Troy myself.
4 Stars Unafraid of passing, September 21, 2005
Reviewer: Carol Yeager (PA)
This was a very easy to read and understand book. It certainly made me feel that death was nothing to fear, but to look forward to when it is time to pass. I envy her adventures to the other side with her beloved brother.

"The Birth Called Death, is noruishing and very much appreciated. I am all admiration for Kathie Jordan's courage. A pleasant surprise the way the story was told and, [I want to be a better person because of it]. It was well wrtiten and highly convincing. I have already ready it twice and plan on reading it for a third time. Ms. Jordan has a unique and beautiful gift. THANKS FOR SHARING.
5 Stars Interesting Read , March 24, 2005

If you have a loved one who had crossed, and who hasn't, this book will be an interesting read for you. Although it covers only a selected sphere of life after life, the author is honest and insight about her reasonings about the visits. I also enjoyed Tiffany Snow's book Psychic Gifts, she is an NDEr and tells more about the other side too, from a lightning strike. There is more and more research coming to light, and more personal stories too - it's time to ask the right questions, and get the answers from people who know!
5 Stars Comfort, guidance and inspiration, August 2, 2004
Reviewer: Jeff (California)
As a psychologist who has studied mysticism, philosophy and transpersonal psychology and who has worked with the terminally ill for years I can say with confidence that this book holds a great deal of value for those who grapple with issues of their own mortality. Kathy Jordan's book offers a heartfelt, insightful and very personal map of the unfolding of consciousness after death. I recommend it not only to those struggling with the loss of a loved one or with the inevitability of their own mortality but to anyone searching for a deeper understanding of their existence.
5 Stars Interesting reading for those who want more info, March 31, 2004
Reviewer: Patricia Bacall (Los angeles, CA United States)
I found this to be a fascinating glimpse into a world about which I really know nothing. Hearing of Kathie's adventures, whether in the dream state, or out of body, makes life beyond life much more safe and interesting to me. I recommend this book for anyone who is curious about loved ones who have passed on, and/or about what will happen to them after death.

I received this book from the author herself and it really is one of the best gifts I have ever received and it came at such a good time for me. My father has been ill for a few months and I was afraid to lose him. After reading Kathie's story and speaking with her personally, I know it will be still be painful for me to lose him but he will be fine. I hope Kathie's next book comes out very soon. This one left me wanting more! Thank you so much Kathie!
5 Stars Uplifting and wise!, February 17, 2004

I've studied mysticism for about thirty years. I feel there is no better book to give to the beginning or the advanced spiritual seeker. The Birth Called Death comforts us regarding death, and helps us to live the here and now to the best of our ability. Though it is an easy read, it's an intuitive book that helps us to open our hearts and minds to the divine wisdom that is truly beyond words. I highly recommend it!
5 Stars Uplifting book!, February 5, 2004
Reviewer: Dicky (USA)
I would have given this book 6 stars if it would've let me. This book is such a great book with so much real information. I have astral projected myself, and have seen many of the places she recalls in the experiences with her dead brother. I could literally not put this book down. This book is not a bunch of new age craph. This is the real deal. I have read over 100 books on the subject of heaven, nde's, astral projection, healing, pyshic books, and tons others. And this one is going on my favorite lists. Do yourself a favor and buy it!
5 Stars The Birth Called Death, January 24, 2004
Reviewer: Gavin G. Dillard "author and playwright" (Ha'iku, HI)
In The Birth Called Death, the young Kathie is repeatedly pulled from her sleepy body by a deceased older brother and offered an extraordinary hands-on tour of the heaven realms. Obviously a very special soul, this little girl is given red-carpet instruction, from the first of the heavens-with its trauma wards-to the highest realms where reside awesome souls such as Jesus. Through her adventures we encounter the paths of relatives, angels and saints.

I have read much of the contemporary literature of death and dying. But never have I read a personal travel guide. It is one thing to study theory and speculation, but quite another to receive first-hand instruction-charmingly and disarmingly from the voice of a seven year-old girl!

For anyone concerned with the hereafter-and if you don't think you're one, look again-this book is a gift from Heaven itself. No writing has ever lifted so much off my mind and left me so free to fly!

5 Stars Truly enlightening, December 13, 2003
Reviewer: "jogiluv" (New York, New York United States)
Having lost my mother recently, I found the book deeply comforting. This well written story is irresistable. Once begun, the personal journey that Kathie Jordan shares with us is truly fascinating, engaging, delightful and truly moving all at the same time. Her style is very ingenuous and the writing itself is real and filled with empathy. Enlightened, in some way, when I finished reading this jewel of a book, I bought a whole bunch of copies to give my friends for Christmas. I hope Mrs. Jordan writes more books.
5 Stars A Provocative Journey, December 11, 2003
Reviewer: A reader
This thought provoking little book is a simple yet complicated gem. Simple because it's extremely accessable and easy to read, complicated because it's content is a lot to take in. It's an astounding story, both heartening and heartfelt -- I couldn't put it down.
